Whilst they have been around since 2012, they were until very recently Vortex Optic's top end model and one of the best selling high end instruments on the market.Īvailable in 8x42 or 10x42 configurations as well as the larger 10x50 and more powerful 12x50 arrangements, the Razor HD binoculars come with the best-quality, hand-selected roof prisms and premium HD (High Density) extra low-dispersion glass lens elements in their awesome Apochromatic (APO) lenses, which are much better at reducing aberrations than the achromatic lens systems used in most other binoculars. The Vortex Razor HD binoculars are an evolution on their "standard" Razor binoculars and are now slightly smaller, lighter and according to Vortex are also even brighter and stronger.
